With the move to a modernized, heritage-protected building, the Jobcenter at the Rendsburg location is also introducing digitization in the area of customer call-up systems.
More than 100 workstations, three waiting areas and state-of-the-art service terminal technology in the entrance area ensure a smooth flow of customers through a multi-storey building.
In addition, with the free cleverQ App, visitors of the Job Center have the option of always receiving up-to-date information about the number of people waiting or the predicted waiting time. With a mobile device such as smartphones or tablets, you can also draw electronic tickets in addition to a paper ticket and do not have to be on site. This leads to a relief of the entire waiting area and to fewer conflicts due to long waiting times.
According to media reports, waiting times have continued to increase in recent years, especially for authorities. One of the reasons for this is that initial applications for job centres are rising. The WAZ wrote in an article from 2016 about long waiting times. This not only annoys customers, of course, but also places special demands on employees.
The long waiting times can be controlled much better with a digital ticket. Visitors can move freely and do not have to spend hours in a waiting room. The cleverQ app uses a push message to inform visitors when it’s their turn. For example, you can spend your waiting time wherever you like.
