Partnership-based support during ongoing operations

Last year, challenges arose during ongoing operations in the interaction between hardware and individual functionalities in the area of citizen services. The situation showed that, in addition to the software, the hardware used also plays a decisive role, especially in a listed building with special building and fire protection requirements.

The town of Wernigerode is located on the northern edge of the Harz Mountains and looks back on a long history. Today, it combines its historic buildings with modern administrative structures to offer citizens reliable and modern municipal services.

Cooperation and implementation

An on-site meeting was held to clarify the situation. The existing problems were discussed and a solution was sought together. Due to the listed environment, specially suitable hardware was used that met the necessary structural and security requirements. In the subsequent technical conversion, which was carried out in close cooperation with the IT department of the city of Wernigerode and the cleverQ team, the technical problems were completely resolved and operations were restored.

Result

Once the measures have been completed, the system runs reliably again on a day-to-day basis. The employees benefit from stable operations and clear processes for the public. At the same time, the project shows how important close cooperation and personal support are in order to implement sustainable solutions even under special circumstances.
