FISU | Rhine Ruhr 2025 with cleverQ
As an official sponsor of the FISU World University Games 2025, cleverQ is delivering a state-of-the-art kiosk system with digital queue and call management. The solution supports on-site operations by streamlining accreditation, uniform collection, and other services – fast, contactless, and efficient. In doing so, cleverQ helps ensure a smooth experience for participants, volunteers, and organizers alike – even with thousands of people and complex event logistics.
Digital accreditation with kiosk system
cleverQ provides modern self-service terminals where participants, volunteers, and staff can easily select the service they need – from basic accreditation pickup to combined uniform collection or group pickups.
The intuitive menu navigation ensures a smooth and efficient process, while easing the workload of the reception team.
Digital accreditation without a kiosk
On-site staff can use tablets to accredit newly arriving personnel, volunteers, or participants – making accreditation or check-in possible even without a kiosk. Ideal for temporary check-ins or ad hoc stations.
Structured assignment on ticket issue
Newly arrived, non-accredited personnel select their assigned group—such as Volunteer, OC Family, Security, or OC Staff—before receiving their ticket. This information is automatically relayed to the reception desks (Distribution), allowing staff to immediately prepare the appropriate materials and direct individuals to the correct next step.
Printed or digital - tickets as required
Participants, volunteers, and staff checking in at self-service kiosks can choose whether to receive their ticket digitally on their smartphone or as a printed copy. cleverQ flexibly supports both options, adapting to individual preferences and on-site requirements.
Intelligent queue control
Staff call up the ticket and direct the individuals in the correct sequence and to the appropriate service point. If the ticket is forwarded to another station, the original ticket number remains unchanged.
As a result, the individual doesn’t need to draw a new ticket at each step, and staff can maintain a clear overview of the entire accreditation or check-in journey.
Live status and calls in real time
All calls are shown on easy-to-read monitors on site, with mobile access available via app or browser. The digital system enables everyone to monitor their current status in real time, eliminating the need to remain in the waiting area.
Optimized personnel deployment
The organizational team benefits as well: Digital management of the flow of people enables targeted resource deployment. Bottlenecks are detected early, allowing volunteers, employees, or participants to be flexibly redirected to where they are needed most.
