International business & milestones – Mid-year update 2025
The year 2025 has picked up speed quickly – partnerships have been deepened, our solutions further developed and new markets opened up. We have made significant progress in recent months, particularly in the international arena. With this brief update, we would like to provide an overview of key milestones, classify current developments and venture an outlook on the next steps.
Strategic orientation in the US market
We reached an important milestone back in 2024 with the founding of cleverQ Inc. in Miami, Florida. Since then, we have been working to expand our presence in the US market in a targeted manner.
Strategically, cleverQ is positioning itself on the US market as an ISV (independent software vendor). ISV refers to a company that develops and sells software products that are generally independent of a specific hardware or operating system.
We are not targeting the consumer or end-user market, but are focusing specifically on networked distributors (e.g. BlueStar Inc.) and their resellers and partner organizations (such as RSPA) in order to achieve deep market penetration. This strategic orientation is based on the significantly higher scaling effects that can be achieved via distribution channels and resellers. It is also in line with typical procurement processes in the US market, where companies prefer to purchase new software and system solutions via established and trusted distributors rather than evaluating individual products directly.

RSPA
cleverQ has been an active member of the Retail Solutions Providers Association (RSPA) - the leading industry association for technology solutions in the US retail sector - since the beginning of 2025.
W2W Community
Members of our team are actively involved in the W2W community (Women to Women) and continue to promote exchange in the tech environment.
Partner network
The establishment of a local partner network is in full swing - particularly with distributors and hardware providers.
Industry events
Participation in important industry events is planned for the second half of the year, including RetailNOW, SEAA, InfoCom and VARTECH 2025.
Partner ecosystems
Our integration into partner ecosystems is developing very promisingly - with Samsung, POSBANK, CTS, Zebra, Star, Elo, Partnertechcorp, BlueStar, among others.
New perspectives in the Middle East: Focus on Saudi Arabia
In parallel with our expansion in North America, we held initial talks with technology partners and institutions in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the first half of 2025. The background: the ongoing digitalization of public services and the consistent implementation of smart city initiatives as part of Vision 2030.

Outlook
We see great potential for further growth in both regions – the USA and the Middle East. Our targets for the second half of 2025:

Further development of our international platform strategy to better reflect country-specific requirements

Technological development
In order to consolidate cleverQ’s existing competitiveness in Europe and to do justice to our strategic orientation in the international market, we are constantly developing the cleverQ platform further.
The development and optimization of existing systems and the introduction of new solutions takes place on three levels: End users, clients, partner and distributor network.
Each of these core target groups interacts with different levels of the portfolio and uses specific cleverQ solutions. The individual modules are networked with each other and consistently follow cleverQ’s platform concept as a central solution hub. This creates competitive, scalable system landscapes that offer our diverse customer groups measurable added value.
